He's supposed to play a corporate nonentity, a shell, a figurehead someone whom Laura Holt manipulates pulls the strings like a puppet... Packed with bright and cheeky dialogue from the scriptwriter and executive producer Michael Gleason. That and the light, cheerful, complementary performances of Stephanie Zimbalist and the Irish-born Pierce Brosnan make this a series worth trying. Mike P @RT09890132 Apr 6 Solid 80s detective series; which is both a romantic comedy and a thriller-mystery; built mostly on the charm of Pierce Brosnan; (and remembered mostly as this, his first show). Stephanie Zimbalist and Doris Roberts co-star and provide solid support. This is also thought of as a poor man's Moonlighting; and while it's not as edgy and innovative as that show; it's still competitively solid entertainment.
