babarizam D @RT59932316 1d Great Great Acting. The girl and the male lead actor both are very good at showing emotions. Especially the scene on the bridge where male actor went from straight emotionless face to pain (tragedy) Facial expressions are incredibly good and real. Storyline is geat. See more Lea o @RT14820160 03/31/2024 Great creepy drama with a likeable protagonist See more A. Mark W @RT26639654 09/24/2023 Finally, a K Drama on Disney+/Hulu that was good. Starts off with a creepy, supernatural premise, and mostly delivers. Never veering into horror, it manages to stay planted firmly in supernatural suspense territory. A good chunk of this show's success can be attributed to Kim Tae Ri (25 to 21, Space Sweepers) who once again 34.65 convincingly portrays a teenager (at 33!). As great as the cast is, and as well as the mystery unfolds,2023 10 they took too many episodes to reveal & resolve everything. Had this kept up its initial pacing, and not added padding episodes, it would have been a 9/10. Even the vfx were very decent, never a distraction. The night time cinematography was fantastic. They managed to make it look dark while maintaining clarity and detail. As it stands, being about 4 or 5 episodes too long, it's still a very decent 7.9, B- See more AC J @Joeal20 08/14/2023 Revenant is a must-see Korean folklore mystery thriller. It's not a traditional Hollywood horror, so don't be put off (or get your hopes up) by that tag, and I didn't find it scary at all. It features an intriguing plot about ghostly possession, which will keep you guessing, and also looks at some of society's pressures on today's youth. Revenant showcases the Emmy-worthy acting of Kim Taeri and she fully deserves all the accolades she receives for this series and her previous works. I thoroughly recommended watching Revenant and have already rewatched it several times. See more Roser G @RT19841479 08/10/2023 This is absolutely a masterpice. Kim Eun-hee and series director Lee Jung-rim understand that horror is supposed to frighten us and they built tension and create a very special interpersonal relationship which is a Kim's work mark and lends Revenant a real human touch which I feel so fresh. Revenant and its 12 episodes share a beautiful history and all characters play an important part in hiding what's going to happen next. Kim Eun-hee using real spirits and ghosts around the traditions and culture of South Korea. It's a detective drama and horror and also about happiness. Kim Tae-ri balances San-yeong and the malicious spirit within her with an awesome and unique performance. It's a must see show. See more Read all reviews
