Doris S @Doris531 May 17 I thought the first episode was really good, but it kinda got boring after that. I wasn't given a reason to care about someone that got what he wanted in life and more. I can't imagine going after something, getting it and then fixating on how hard it was. Life is hard. He really should do a dance type song, EDM mix, at least it would make him feel happy while playing it. See more LJ Schraner G @RT36589223 Apr 8 Breathtakingly sad! A close encounter with a world mega star and his battles with addiction and mental health. Unbelievable insight into what affect depression has on a human being and how incapacitated one can become when the illness begins to control you. A true wake up call for the stigma attached to mental health. See more Shaun R @Shaun666 02/16/2025 Not a bad documentary but doesn’t make me like Robbie Williams anymore than I used to, which isn’t very much. I understand there are deeper mental issues which he was very honest about, but my God he was fortunate to have the career that he had with the limited talent he possessed. Some people crave the spotlight despite the downfalls that come with it and I find it hard to feel too sorry for all of his self pity. He came across as a complex, multi-faceted, interesting character. I would have liked to see him at least ONCE with some pants on during the documentary, however. it's hard to take someone seriously when they never wear pants or get out of bed for a entire multi-part docuseries. So good to see old Robbie doing what he did best but also being incredibly honest about what mental illness can do to you. How can you not like Robbie? You can see he’s undeniably a good man. I’ve never written a review but felt compelled to write simply because he deserves so much better than our hideous UK press, which is sadly full of very bad people writing bad things about people they don’t know. Those of us that have dealt with depression, anxiety, or addiction may closely relate to his journey to bring himself into balance and treat his self (and others) with compassion and kindness.
