The production quality is excellent for a historical documentary and it will keep you watching and engaged. It reminds me of the old school History Channel style documentaries. I can't speak to any possible small inaccuracies. Not only do the characters completely lack depth, it is like the makers went out of their way to make almost every single detail look historically inaccurate: They tick all the boxes of typical mistakes they obviously copied from other series/movies set in Ancient Rome (those horrible cuffs, leather cuirasses, deep cleavages on the actresses), and then they add some more inaccuracies of their own (a beardless Marcus Aurelius, to just name one)! One would expect these things from a mindless action movie, but at the same time they seem to aspire to bring some kind of documentary.
