The storyline is original and perfectly paced, with twists that come from character choices instead of cheap surprises. It’s beautifully written, letting the humor land naturally. The performances are excellent across the board — warm and believable, and precise in the small moments that make a romance stick. The chemistry between the leads is a huge part of why it works so well. Their connection feels effortless and real, with a push-and-pull that’s quietly moving. You’re rooting for them not because the show tells you to, but because you can actually feel how much they matter to each other. One highlight is the setting. The show feels like a quiet trip through Japan and its countryside. Every episode ends with just enough momentum that I couldn’t wait to watch the next one.
