Royalties works because it doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is: a short feel-good comedy. The entire show can be watched in about an hour so I am definitely hoping for a second season. The music is great, it really reminds me of The Lonely Island: awesome beat and melody that will get stuck in your head + hilarious lyrics (that will equally get stuck in your head). The shows only misfit is that it airs on Quibi (which hasn't really convinced me that it is worth paying for every month). I think the show would have been far more successful if it aired on Netflix.
