"RuPaul's Drag Race" is a reality show in which a group of talented drag queens compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul, the world's most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. Each episode consists of a main challenge, usually some form of performance or fashion design -- sometimes both. The queens then participate in a themed runway show, where one is declared the winner of that week, while two others are announced to be up for elimination. The bottom two must then compete to stay on the show with a lip-sync for their lives.

It is great fun to see them embody specific styles, but I highly doubt that their performances influence Ru's decision in some way. Go to Full Review

As bad as it is, the live finale/live crowning means that we never get a proper reunion show because the three remaining queens are still (nominally) in competition. Go to Full Review

I actually enjoyed getting to know more about Kennedy, my least favorite of the remaining queens. Go to Full Review

TheRetroRanger 1 @theretroranger 05/28/2023 This season was an absolute mess. Too many acting challenges and horrendous runway looks. See more 04/26/2022 I love it at first but once the funny queen are eliminated, is just flat and boring for me, don't get me wrong i love all the queen, but i Just think the top 3 spot should give it to more talent, unique queen. See more 10/09/2021 A couple good solid episodes but it became clear that Ru had 2 people in mind to be in the final 3 despite better queens. This was a major case of the wrong queen winning and a season that had very little talent in its cast See more 08/18/2019 Though not the longest season, this one feels like the longest season. From the first to the very last episode, it's just a very slow and unenthusiastic ride. Most of the drama here isn't even entertaining, just upsetting, and most of the challenges weren't right up the girl's alleys, as most of them were fashionistas and therefore provided the most boring episodes of the entire series. See more 03/02/2019 I just didn't care who won! See more Read all reviews
