Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles had the chance to break the mold with its source material and the unique art teased throughout, but instead, it plays it safe with characters, humor, and beats that have been seen before in this genre of animation. Go to Full Review

As fighting shows go, this is one parents will appreciate for its emphasis on humor and positive lessons over anger and chaos. Kids will just think it's an all-around good time. Go to Full Review

khad c @linamani Jan 19 An interesting show The Samurai rabbit is an interesting show, I saw this series last year It's got a lot of episodes, the graphics in it are amazing it's about a rabbit that wants to be Samurai and he makes his dream true. The Samurai Rabbit is a good show and I recommend it to everyone. See more Kervin G @RT97295392 09/13/2023 After all those years I didn't know that there is another franchise connected to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Franchise and that is the Usagi Yojimbo franchise. For years they have been crossovers each time and honestly, I didn't know what it was until I saw it on Netflix. Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles is such a good show to watch. The story and animation really enough for the show to watch and so are the visuals and rendering of this 3d animation. Although some parts of the show felt low budget. One example is the fight scenes. And honestly, that show is pretty funny. They have some of the funniest moments in this show especially the walnut part and the dorkiest parts that came from Yuichi Usagi which make him more likable. Plus the characters in the show were very decent some are weird and some are cool. And Yuichi is such a favorite character for TMNT fans. I just they have the same love for Chizu and Kitsune because they have good chemistry with each other. The TMNT Fandom really should give this show a chance and I would really recommend this if they want to try a new show. See more 06/28/2022 The worst thing about this show is that it's going to make people think this is what the comic (Usagi Yojimbo) is like. The comic is one of the greatest indie comics of all time and has been in on-and-off publication for over 35 years. For some reason, the showrunner got the rights to this property and decided to turn it into a cartoon for pre-schoolers that bears no resemblance to the source material. If you are looking for brain dead formula to entertain young children, you can do better than this drivel. See more Madame B @RT21787596 05/09/2022 I remember reading the Usagi Yojimbo comics when I was a kid and thought I'd check this out. What a mess. The animation is stiff and lifeless, characters just bland, carbon copies of characters that show up in every animated show, the writing stale and completely formulaic. So much potential yet they seem to have gone out of their way to make it as ordinary as possible. See more 05/03/2022 Absolutely love it! The show is as beautiful as it is fun. So many lessons disguised as pure entertainment. See more 04/29/2022 The animation is good considering the tiny budget, it's funny, the characters are well written and the plot is decent. My only disappointment was the fight and action scenes are kind of childish, compared to the original story which is very violent and brutal. I missed that in the show but I understand the desire to appeal to a younger audience. See more Read all reviews
