The plot kept me guessing and moves lightning fast. I've read all the Scarpetta books, some more than once and I like the two timelines. The cast is talented (young Scarpetta and Cannavalle, you rock!) and although I might suggest a swap or two (who wouldn't?) I'm ready for more. For all the reviewers who say the show is not faithful to the books--what TV series or movies are? Some shows that I like, I had to suspend my faithful memory of the books (Dexter, Lincoln Lawyer, Bridgerton, Outlander ...) and was still able to enjoy and like the on-screen versions. It's the interpretation of the book content, driven by screenwriters and directors, I'm thinking? In any event, I highly recommend the series to friends and family. See more Read all reviews
