The movie runs the gamut of emotions from joy to terror to despair to love, the series' omnipresent theme. Go to Full Review

But is it enough to be worthwhile? It's definitely a better ending than the show left us with at the end of season two, so I guess it was. And that's about as strong an endorsement as I can give. Go to Full Review

Though the plot is a bit rushed and sidelines a few of the show's best characters, the overwhelming message of love should leave fans on a warm and fuzzy note, while also reminding them how groundbreaking and important the series was from the start. Go to Full Review

Sense8 finale doesn't quite hang together. But "Amor Vincit Omnia" is bursting at its broken seams with warmth, hope, and a desire for connection. So, in short: It's Sense8, same as it's always been. I wouldn't have it any other way. Go to Full Review

Marco L @decatur555 Mar 16 Sense8 is one of those series you either tune into completely or you risk being left outside. It is strange, ambitious, emotional, and often chaotic, but that chaos is part of the point: the storytelling mirrors the fractured, shared experience of its characters. More than a conventional sci-fi series, it feels like an immersion into emotion, identity, desire, fear, and connection across different cultures and bodies. Visually it is stunning, with bold editing and a style that almost never resembles normal television. It can be slow, self-indulgent, and occasionally uneven, but when it works, it is hypnotic. And yes, some of the backlash clearly came from viewers uncomfortable with its queer openness. Their loss. See more Kalissa H @kali_416 12/18/2024 This show has great characters, loved everyone in the cluster and their partners and friends. It was cool that Sylvester McCoy showed up. This last episode was a big ensemble and had a satisfying ending. See more Peter K @Vacadoug 10/26/2023 Was hooked after the third episode! Amazing acting and screenplay and special effects are not overdone. The multiple locations are genuine -- and that is rare . . . the film's makers logged in over 100,000 air miles for Season 1 and that is daunting in its own right! See more Gabriel @RT13383360 01/01/2023 Can't believe I waited this long to watch it! I watched all the episodes and finished the whole series in no time, it is a masterpiece!
