It might not have the obsessive detail of The West Wing, but Zelensky speaks clearly to Ukrainian concerns. Go to Full Review

Servant reveals something of the aspirations that Ukrainian voters invested in Zelenskiy when they decided to give him a shot at governing them. Most of all, in these bleak days, it’s very funny. Go to Full Review

It's elevated by Zelenskyy's performance, which perfectly captures the many challenges his character faces – from feeling overwhelmed by the job to dismay when he sees how even his family tries to cash in on his new position. Go to Full Review

The humorous, prophetic series is a smart political satire that delivers on laughs and strong social commentary. Go to Full Review

Throughout it all, Zelenskyy’s decidedly not-ready-for-primetime family and his own humble worldview and inexperience are the source of many of the jokes. The rest, though, are why you won’t be able to look away from this thing if you truly dare to watch. Go to Full Review

Zelensky is, of course, an engaging presence -- not quite the traditional comic nebbish, but quietly watchful, decent, stoic, with a silent comedian’s soulful, mobile face. Go to Full Review

Amir S Mar 10 Funny and light - really good. See more 05/24/2022 I think this series tells the story for the whole of Eastern Europe. As a Romanian, I found familiar 80% of the situations presented in the story See more greg m @GregFromCos 04/27/2022 Such a great show! Really adds some perspective to what had happened in Ukraine and how they viewed Russia before the invasion. At times, things may not seem funny from a western perspective, but you really need to see it through their eyes to catch some of the humor. But really enjoying it. See more 03/31/2022 It's a bit surreal watching the person I've come to know for his strength of character under fire playing a nice guy who is almost accidentally thrust into the position he now occupies in reality. At times the show seems heavy-handed, but then I think about an American political comedy like "VEEP" and realize that it's well within the normal boundaries for such a show, and it's very funny without all of the swearing and vitriol of "VEEP" (which it did so well). When he does his anti-corruption rants, you can hear a lot of what he sounds like now, which makes me wonder if he is still just acting. However, I think it is more the case that he wasn't so much acting in the show as he was expressing his real feelings, which is why he got elected. See more 03/18/2022 witty, well written, and obviously starring a current head of state; what's not to love? See more Read all reviews
