See more Liz B Aug 16 SHERWOOD ranks as one of the best TV SERIES of all time, so far I’ve only placed three Series on that list: The Sopranos, Homeland, Succession and now the fourth——Sherwood. I can’t find fault with anything except I’m waiting here in Washington DC for Season 3 to drop (obviously for a Yank like me, I hope it’s available on Britbox, + Netflix, Hulu, etc. See more Dave B @BurgerDB Apr 8 I haven't finished this series, I've finished season 1. ep. 4 but I wanted to write this now, as I'm seeing this billed as a mystery, but it really isn't in the traditional sense. I know for sure who murdered the woman, and I'm 99.5% sure (as are the characters) that we know who murdered the man. So the mystery isn't in the murders, but rather, who is the, consequential or not, leftover from the Margaret Thatcher era? This series is quite brilliant in the way it takes you through a significant episode in history, a couple of murders, a huge manhunt, and it appears now in ep. 4 that things are lining up in a surprising way. A bit cerebral, but very, very good.
