All of the plot changes from the book were really unfortunate, with the exception of the killer ending. Kirby’s time changes were impossible to follow and the show runner has a lame excuse for envisioning Harper as holding a string, as responsible. Just a waste of confusion. This is only saved by the acting.

Every episode is the same thing. Very uneventful, with an unnecessarily confusing plot line that switches between different periods of time whimsically. Ambiguous and vague plot. No character development.
