The script effectively links together half a dozen real cases and uses with moderation the fantastical element that allows it to alter the story. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Pooran S @Pooran Jul 24 Mind bending, stunning, poignant, violent but satisfying ...a stellar series even with it's complicated, confusing time based plotline . A thriller like no other with outstanding performances by all the cast members...led from the front by the 3 main lead actors ....Bravo 👏 See more Sheri S @Hiken 11/01/2022 A well crafted and expert;y told story that spans two time periods set apart by decades. The only thing better than the plot is the characters. However, the show at time feels overly dramatized. Considering the story arcs are based on real life Korean cases, it is both impressive and concerning. Is it ok to share these fictionalized stories of real people? We can be thrilled by this show and love these characters but shouldn't disassociate it from reality. I see this as a chance to educate people about the real life crimes that inspired this show. I don't see this as insensitive to the actual victims but at the same time, I DON'T get to decide that. See more 08/01/2022 This show is FANTASTIC. The script is so well written over the season with beautiful seasonal arcs for each character. The crimes are chilling as some of the cases are based on actual events that happened in Korea. Actors' performance is top notch, especially Cho Jin-woong (as Lee Jae-han) and Kim Hye-soo (as Cha Soo-hyun). The depth these actors bring to the table spanning from 1989-200 story arc is so emotional and the occasional comedy keeps a great rhythm to the flow. They made a Japanese adaptation (Series and Movie) which was okay for a Japanese production but shows just how great of an IP this is. MUST WATCH TV SHOW on Netflix!!!! See more 06/09/2022 I started watching the series without much expectation. In the end, I was surprised and I really liked it. The series has an excellent plot, a lot of suspense and emotion. It is certainly much better than several more well-known series. See more Read all reviews
