Sinbad (Elliot Knight), accidentally kills a son of a powerful Lord (Naveen Andrews). As an atonement for this act, Sinbad's brother is killed right in front of him. Sinbad's grandmother (Janet Suzman) has him cursed so that he cannot stay on land for more than one day. This leads him to an adventurous life at sea. Meanwhile, Sinbad is unaware that the Lord still hunts him.
