As she grapples with loss and acceptance, Sam finds a saving grace in singing. It leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up, proving that finding like-minded people and a voice is always possible. What a rare blessing to savor a season so bursting with love that its emotional climax could only be powered by the strength of Bridget Everett’s voice. Go to Full Review

Everett and Hiller’s chemistry makes them seem like actual soulmates. This duo could jazz up a trip to the morgue, and they certainly make it easy to watch seven half-hours of half-baked television. Go to Full Review

Jacob B Jul 22 Gobsmacked! Not only did this derivative show get renewed, it got a Peabody award!?! What was award worthy? Maybe it was the banal set design and camera work? Maybe it was the base, improvised dialogue? (Altman could do this, but this director/cast/creator ain’t no Altman) Maybe it was the predictable, almost non existent plot? Maybe it was the totally unrealistic depiction of middle American small town life? For being formulaic and for checking every Special Interest box, it excels. Too bad it didn’t check the box for captivating drama. See more Beth T 02/04/2025 How in the world was this show not renewed? It has it all: humor, romance, emotional, fun, great acting. I LOVE this show and we need more like it. See more Izzy R 12/22/2024 Simple show, I loved it! See more Walter M 12/10/2024 By far one of the best shows , brilliant writing, cast, music all! I laugh and cry every episode. Truly makes you reexamine your life. See more Sydney C 10/29/2024 This season was so fantastic. The cast, as always, was wonderful. Loved the new additions. And the ending was absolutely perfect. Chef's kiss!!! See more Laura L @laurakali 09/18/2024 I’m late to this show and it’s fantastic. Shame on the streaming network for not advertising this gem.
