The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed series follows Sam, a true Kansan on the surface who, beneath it all, struggles to fit the hometown mold and its expectations. As she grapples with loss and acceptance, Sam finds a saving grace in singing. It leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up, proving that finding like-minded people and a voice is always possible. The series explores the themes of change and growth against all odds.

[Somebody Somewhere] has done its own beautiful thing for two series, with a third and final one now arriving quietly, unobtrusively and rather brilliantly. Go to Full Review

It is remarkable the extent to which this show can and does burrow into your heart. Go to Full Review

It’s a singular experience that, even now in its final bow, is hard to describe, much less gab about with others. Go to Full Review

Fans of humanistic comedy should make a beeline for all three seasons of “Somebody Somewhere,” an endearing and rudely hilarious series about life’s losers. Or are they? Go to Full Review

Whitney C @RT6789079921 Jul 11 Its not really the type of genre I like but I have enjoyed several dramas. I must admit I didn't like it all that much. I enjoyed some of the characters and situations, but overall it felt like the main character (Sam) was very unlikeable and her main issues in life were self inflected. I didn't really find myself identifying with her journey. The random relationship setup at the end felt completely unearned also. See more Hallie W @HallieW65 Jun 30 Looove this. It’s so underrated See more Deanne P @Padi321 Jun 26 Comedy Drama with a lot of heart.Feeling lucky with that one. See more Kalissa H. @kali_416 Jun 21 Still a great show, but I wish there were more scenes with Fred and Joel! There was not enough Fred in this season and they wrote Susan like she was controlling him. I liked Joel and Brad in season two, but this season it just seemed like Joel was majorly compromising everything he dreamed of in his dream board. I think Brad not wanting more kids could’ve been put into better context within his relationship with Joel. We learn that he doesn’t have a close relationship with his kids, so a conversation about the impacts of that with future kids would have been nice. Maybe a scene where he does contact his kids would have been sweet. There were some unlikable Sam moments, but overall, she won me over. A big plus of this season is the inclusion of Tricia in Sam’s friend group and everyone getting along. Also, I enjoyed the development of Joel and Sam being platonic soulmates. I love their friendship. See more Jenny F. @BrummyPA Oct 12 Can we just get a few more seasons of this thoroughly enjoyable, lovely stuff? See more derek l @RT36274585 Sep 28 How did I just find out about this show?! This show encompasses the human experience like no other. I can't get enough of Sam and Joel and the joy this show has brought me. Only getting 21 episodes is a crime but I will be forever grateful that I got to get a small glimpse into these incredible characters lives. See more Read all reviews
