I like liked the unexpected twists, and all the acting was top-notch. Yes, it's piggybacking on Black Mirror, but this is done well enough to stand on its own not to be simply a copy. The futuristic touch added character to the show. I do feel like in some episodes that the story was a bit "too much" and many redundant character arcs were not needed to keep the flow of the show going. I felt like some parts of the storylines were distracting and diverged away from the main focus which was someone finding their soulmate. Some bad acting here and there. But overall, the show gives really interesting stories. The aesthetics, special effects, and cinema techniques were really great. 7/10. Jaslynn G Oct 24, 2020 I love it, actually. It's not momentously deep but it's an interesting musing on the old adage "be careful what you wish for..." It sounds ideal to find your soulmate, but is it in actuality...? Each episode explores a scenario where two or more people are scientifically linked up with their soulmate (of which there is only one). It's not stupid, the characters are varied, the writing is good. Again: I like it very much. Susan D Oct 20, 2020 It tries to have that futuristic Black Mirror vibe with different episodes and characters each week but it's not as exciting as Black Mirror because, well it all revolves around a love app. If every episode is going to be the same thing, just slightly different situations involving people who have taken the "test" then this show doesn't have much promise. There are a few interesting actors, but I've grown weary of selfish, immature characters; and era-specific lingo such as "living your best life." This is for the GOOP.com crowd who are looking for magical remedies that they can drink, smear on, or burn as a candle.
