With loads of classic episodes and tons of funny moments Season 6 of South Park is one of the best seasons of any TV show ever. Kenny was replaced by Butters and later on Tweek Butters is excellent and Tweek did a good job filling the gap. An awesome season with each and every episode here being great. Plenty of great character moments, some of the funniest lines of dialogue, tons of memorable moments and plenty of Episodes that deserve to be on the all time best list. Season 6 is not only one of the best South Park Seasons of all time but also one of the best seasons of any show period.
Best Episode: "The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers"
Worst Episode: "The New Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer"
South Park Season 6 may be more famous for having retired Kenny for a while, but it benefits much more from dynamically changing scenery, the background, cast of characters and boundaries of the physical, emotional, mental states of how 9-year old kids could get into such crazy adventures, compared to how Season 4 and 5's episodes all looked so identical. I definitely want to preserve "Bebe's Boobs", "A Ladder to Heaven", "Jared has AIDS....oh sorry aides" and "Red Sleigh Down", which turned out to be even better than the movie it was parodying.
With some of the singular best episodes of the entire series, Season 6 of South Park is vastly different from the rest - but still retains everything that is good about the past 5 years of the show.
Quite an unique season as we see the replacement of Kenny with Butters (not that it's bad or anything), the episodes were great satires but lacking in definitive direction.
The best season of South Park
Still really funny and even more satirical than before. South Park is The Simpsons of the cable generation.
The introduction of Butters was a great move as well as the inclusion of unforgettable episodes like Two Towers Future Self and Simpsons did it
