So, no, it hasn't been a great season by South Park standards, but it has been one that reminds us that the show remains as relevant as ever. Not bad 21 years in.

This year yielded a handful of instant classics and reminded us that South Park is at its best when the focus remains on Stan, Kyle, Cartman and the rest of the gang, not on the crazy world outside South Park, Colorado.

South Park season 21 doesn't promise to be as controversial or edgy as previous years - nor is it as wild as it should be at this point - but there's still enough comedic sustainability to warrant another trip back to this Colorado town.
