Feb 26, 2023This season is better season than the first one because characters were better developed, making the plot really captivate you into watching the next episode.

Feb 15, 2023A marked improvement over its first iteration, Space Force is finally taking flight. John Malkovich is still doing more heavy lifting than the rest of the cast, but these characters are starting to settle into their sitcom forms at last and the newfound direction helps in this endeavor. The first season couldn't decide what it wanted to be, but here in the second Greg Daniels has seemingly decided to drop the narrative focus in favor of a tempo more befitting his other television shows. There's a loose linear story being told, but it's no longer front-and-center allowing for more of a sitcom feel, an area where Daniels must feel right at home. In sum Space Force is finding its footing and while it might not make a "must watch TV" list in this era of myriad offerings it's still charming and funny enough to make it worth your time.

May 22, 2022Space Force is a good show that I felt was better in the first season. This seems to be the minority opinion as critics seem to like it more in the 2nd season. To me, this means they are just starting to understand the show. Season 1 felt far more put together and planned out. The world of space force felt real, and you could believe you were on the campus of a US military HQ. Season 2, felt smaller, which was wisely reflected in the plot. There were fewer characters, fewer stories. The interplay between Carrel's Naird and Malkevich's Mallory is worth the price of admission by itself, but the 7-episode season felt rushed. Top plot points that felt lost with the abbreviated season: The Naird marriage breakdown. How did the moon team manage to get home with the Chinese? Is it an inside joke that Mrs. Naird's sentence seems to get shorter every time its mentioned? Overall, I can look over all of this because I love these characters. I love F Tony, every scene he's in makes me laugh. John Malkevich is a treasure and having him in a role like this is with a comedic genius like Carell is too good an opportunity. The show is very good and I wish it was restored to the size of season 1.

May 09, 2022A quiet, utopian fantasy about teamwork - one where you can fail bigger and bigger every day, and your people will only love you more for it. A world where behavior is predictable and utter incompetence can still get us to the moon and back. A sweet love letter to lonely men who have good intentions and lofty, if pointless ambitions. You'll be ok, men...don't worry.

Apr 30, 2022Unique in its own way and really picked up extraordinary level of humor in season 2! It's a must watch! Shocked that Netflix cancelled it despite season 2 being awesome!

Apr 06, 2022I was excited in the first season because of the setting. But it was kinda meh.. But oh boy did they step it up this season. Firstly the character are all very humane and the acting is great! Secondly the humor is much better dosed and not so overly comical (which might has a connection to the sader storylines guiding us this time) making actually alot funnier. Thirdly but neither last or least the series is giving great character development to formerly mostly annoying people like Sharon and the marketing guy (forgot his name sadly). I most likely will give this a 2nd watch and can highly recommmend a watch if you want a grounded feel-good office comedy because lets be real here the only space you will see in this season is the one in the name of the show.
