Considering the plethora of similar titles in the anime industry and how much better a number of them are, it becomes evident that “Spriggan” has not that much to offer. Go to Full Review

This first season is a good start and though it has a long way to go when it comes to rhythm, it offers a lot of potential for what's yet to come. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The action series, which was once adapted from the original manga in 1998, offers viewers a suspense-filled story world with a 1990s vibe. Go to Full Review

There’s a very human element to a story that didn’t actually need one – but it thrives from that very storyline. And because of that, Spriggan is saved from being an uninspired mishmash of action and ancient civilization talk. Go to Full Review

Netflix’s Spriggan has the potential to be a great anime. The voice acting is solid, the action is entertaining at times, and the premise is sound... With only six-episodes currently, though, its open-ended nature might not win over newcomers. Go to Full Review

While Spriggan is a muddled assembly of great action, conspiracy theories, and high school drama, it is a fun and wild watch. The action sequences alone are a bloody good time and the absurdity is something that when embraced, can work. Go to Full Review

Joakim U @Sweden123 Feb 22 Ok show! Except the propagandan that all bad guys are extreme right wing. Why do ALL series now days have to include something about climate change and "all right wing ppl are bad", it’s ridiculous See more Hex x @HexOnThat May 1 Spriggan is great, quite enjoyable to watch and such a creative premise. They also make the 3d animation style work with the story and it's so interesting to see! This series has also delivered some very cool scenes. See more Lexel 12/12/2024 A bit silly overall but very entertaining action. See more Radib 7 10/10/2023 The story is terrible filled with anime cliches, the only thing it has going for it is action. See more Some Guy F 02/06/2023 Please stop making remakes of animes with lame CGI effects. If you're going to do a remake it needs to look BETTER than the original, not worse than something that came out in the 90s. Quit cheaping out and pay some people to draw slick action sequences. Spriggan is light on the plot, the plot is just an excuse for people to shoot each other, so you gotta make the shooting look good. There's no excuse for something in 2022 to look worse than it's 1998 counterpart. Berserk, Trigun, Spriggan...stop it. All of you, stop it. See more Read all reviews
