For a brief moment, I do consider whether Squid Game: The Challenge could be so bad that it is good, but I think that would be letting its makers off too lightly. Go to Full Review

While there are still aspects of Squid Game: The Challenge we don’t love, like how the eliminated contestants are “killed,” we liked how the producers made the early stages of the competition more intimate and personal. Go to Full Review

Strong personality clashes and creative twists to the show’s challenges deliver, even when the series leans in too heavily to the shock and pain of sudden, yet inevitable betrayals. Go to Full Review

So although Squid Game: The Challenge does make me queasy and uncomfortable – just like the drama does – that in itself is a powerful thing, and it deserves to be seen. Go to Full Review

I don’t recommend giving this reality show (or any reality show for that matter) a watch. If you watch it anyway, do remember that you were warned. Go to Full Review

Vanessa V @Vanessa94 Jan 31 Scripted and the winner was so undeserving! She kept talking about karma and people attacking her, when they literally just retaliated against her attacks! She played the victim card and was so selfish and acted entitled. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jan 13 Squid Game: The Challenge season two builds confidently on what worked in the first season, delivering more depth, more creativity, and a much larger cast of personalities. The challenges feel more layered this time, forcing players to rely not just on physical ability, but strategy, patience, and social awareness. That added complexity makes the season more engaging and unpredictable. However, with more players comes more chaos. This season is filled with stubborn, stingy, and sometimes downright ridiculous behavior, which fuels the drama but can also become frustrating to watch. Some strong competitors were eliminated in ways that felt unfair or unnecessary, especially when they were targeted despite playing smart, honest games. While the winner earned the title within the rules of the game, the outcome still feels disappointing. There were several contestants who felt far more deserving and played with more integrity. That said, it is a game of chance, manipulation, and survival. See more David D @David2026 Jan 8 This season is a big pick up from the previous. So much is character driven, and in a series such as this, no amount of writing will help. The voluntary cast members battling for the prize drive it. One person is going to get very lucky, but the producers needs lots of luck with lots of people. This season they did. See more home t Nov 25 It was better than the first season, but I hate the fact that you can just decide who leaves without having to face them or anything. The strong players always get eliminated too easily by the weak players. You should have to challenge them 1v1 and beat them at a game or something to get them to leave and not just by snapping your finger, pretty much. See more Juju S @Jujus Nov 23 Le concept reste hyper cool à regarder, par contre je ne me suis attachée à aucun candidat cette année dont la plupart me tapaient sur les nerfs. See more Jason P @NAWJason Nov 22 There’s a reason they time released the final episode, it was absolutely abysmal and left us (and everyone I’ve talked to) angry and disappointed for wasting our time. There’s a decent concept still here and a lot of set design & production work but the editing and production direction ruined this show See more Read all reviews
