It’s a handsomely produced collection of callbacks, inside jokes, and familiar cues. A collection of saccharine nostalgia that says nothing ever changes and nothing ever should.

Excellent! This is what we wanted all along. Thank you Terry Matalas. Paramount/CBS needs to let Terry Matalas run Star Trek and not Kurtzman. Matalas "gets it." Kurtzman does not seem to understand what makes Star Trek "Star Trek."

This show is not good. Its written like a soap opera, and the portrayals of the characters are dramatic mockeries of the originals. Seeing these aged actors return in this era of awful writing was really painful. None of Star Trek's hope and optimism exist in this show. Thankfully, the good version of the show is also on Paramount+, just start up Star Trek The Next Generation for ~250 episodes of the better, original flavor!

What an absolute perfect ending to the next generation. I cant believe how good this was. Season 1 was good, Season 2 was just ok to me...but this was fantastic. Could not have asked for anything more. Bravo
