As a TNG fan since 1980s - 1990s, the series is beyond expectation. The narrative is fun, but the script and production makes it so involving. The series is definitely for the TNG fans.

Picard season three is a tour de force of adventure and thrills that brings in elements of multiple Star Trek franchises. But most especially, it’s the final season of TNG that we never got to see. A master class in fan service. It’s a fun watch if you’re not familiar with those old shows, but if you are, it’s an absolute must see.

The first two series were nothing special. The story was ok, but the characters weren't interesting. With the third season, they went full-on with fan service, where it's practically became Star Trek: The Next Generation, once more. And I enjoyed that. Sure, they needed that to make something interesting, because the entire story didn't give anything really fascinating, but still, it was an improvement.

After two disappointing seasons, this is a welcome redemption that finally captures the true essence of Star Trek. However, the supernatural elements and the strictly serialized format still hold it back from perfection.

They FINALLY got it right! This season shows that the writers are capable of creating a show that feels true to the old series while giving us a fresh look at the universe that has been created, with believable evolutions in the dynamics of certain characters and species. This season feels like one of the better TNG movies split up into a 10-hour romp, with tension, nostalgia and genuinely joyful and sad moments peppered through. A much needed return to form.
