The show's attempt to individualize its protagonists largely reduces them to predictable, banal archetypes.

The Bad Batch feels familiar but also starts a new journey with new characters in a cool setting. I can't wait to see what happens with this group in the Empire.

Should satisfy Clone Wars fans.

If you really love Star Wars and you liked The Clone Wars this is a must one to watch. The animation is great, the plot too. It's great.

I was not a fan of the Clone Wars. But this has grabbed me. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

When did all Star Wars people turn bri'ish?

Every time they find a new way to portray the events of order 66 from a fresh perspective, and it never gets old! It is such a pivotal and interesting time in the star wars galaxy to explore. Seeing the transition of the republic to the empire from the perspective of the clones was very interesting, and they have developed the members of the squad further to give them more personality and depth, which was lacking in TCW season 7. Only thing that bothered me is how 45 year old Freddie Prinze Jr. voicing young kid caleb dume sounds nothing like a kid his age.

Technically and visually it's beautiful. It's also "next step" from what Clone Wars was. But.. First episode is 70 minutes long and it should've been shorter. Nothing spectacular is going on, the mood and vibe are far away from what this show could've been. It's somewhat boring and unexciting, the "Mandalorian" style of writing is dominating in the show. The character of Omega is probably put there to teach the clones how to be more "human" since she's a child but she fails at that and endangers the heroes and the plot. She's also an obvious agenda agent in the show. Overall I'm not too excited for the next episode. There is no obvious main plot, also.

The story is very boring. It's simplified to a point that I am confused on how they made the pilot an hour and ten minutes long. The execution makes it feel like the audience is being dragged along to different locations just for nothing to happen. I feel like more happened in a twenty-minute episode of the Clone Wars. I'm cool with the story setting up a kid finding themself but the pilot episode does nothing to make the audience care. Also, most of the characters have no semblance of a personality beyond one-liners. The art, lighting, and cinematography are a bright spot.

Although many joke around that this is "season 8" to clone wars it's a story on it's own. I was excited for this series as there was more too explore for this group of elite clones that briefly showed up in clone wars. If you were someone who gave no f*cks about this group in their debut then this will peak your interest or may even make you love it. For star wars fans this covers the events of order 66 and the transition from the republic to the empire from a new perspective which is perfect. For those fresh into the star wars universe then this is a series I highly recommend as there's no need to binge any of the previous star wars' series as the end of the premiere you will have taken a liking to the protagonists and the story itself.

Superou todas as minhas expectativas. Dave Filoni plantou uma semente na temporada final de Star Wars: Clone Wars para depois expandir o universo. Acertou em cheio na construção de cada um dos personagens. Vida longa a Star Wars: Bad Batch.
