This gritty drama follows unlikely tech entrepreneurs behind a brilliant idea, and a powerful FBI agent ("Sherlock" star Martin Freeman) who can make or break those he comes in contact with -- not always for the right reasons. Set in Miami, Izzy Morales creates a revolutionary, unregulated digital currency called GenCoin. A young banker named Andy decides to partner with Izzy, infusing the project with cash that Andy's father is desperate to conceal. The trio ends up on the radar of FBI Financial Crimes Agent Phil Rask, who is on Andy's trail.

J @Coachcooper Nov 17 Great story line and good writing. Horrible acting by Izzy and Adam Brody. Izzy reminds me of Claire daines running around for 10 year on medication, saving the world, and Screamingfor 1 hour. While destroying all those around her. Season 2 really good. Season1 mediocre porno. Season 3 outlandish. Disappointing their was good actors. See more 06/13/2022 Season 3 is all messed up... All characters became too dumb... See more 09/14/2021 We just loved this whole series and are so devastated to find out there isn't another season! Really hope they make another! See more 08/02/2021 This show it is a must see! I hope it will continue for few more seasons :) See more 06/28/2021 There are some great storylines in this season, great acting, and very high production values. But there are also some stupid storylines too, and some actions that are senseless for the characters in their context to make, e.g. why does Izzy set the timer in her kitchen, why does Nick think he was being threatened by Ron when Ron made him hold a gun, why does Mara wait until the meeting before revealing her big secret, and why does the professional killer hit someone in her own car, getting his blood all over her upholstery and door? IMHO Startup would have been better had it stopped at the end of Season 2. See more 06/16/2021 We really wonder if the script was written over the episodes. Repetitive, actors who seem dumber than their functions suggest. A waste because some ideas are good. See more Read all reviews
