Character depth is created by harried reactions, the mood is uniformly ominous. It's not subtle, but it can be effective. Go to Full Review

See you for the next episode, plus the six after that - and there's no point pretending otherwise. Go to Full Review

The series is superficial trash, yes, but lovingly polished trash. I couldn't stop watching. Go to Full Review

I’ll also say that I didn’t see the twist coming, which I suppose makes Stay Close a successful Coben series. Go to Full Review

Ross H @RT18183959 Jul 3 Don't waste your time!! It's truly disappointing to see the so called professional critics rate this show so highly. These lazy writers have strung me a long and wasted 8 hours of my life that I will never get back. It was enjoyable until they started to wrap things up and then all the plot holes presented themselves. Cassie left her life because of Stewart Green who was already dead, Dave killed Carlton accidently as if he wouldn't of been banging on the car and Dave wouldn't of noticed? The production actually includes an audio of him banging in the repeat of the scene where Dave pushes the car into the water. Absolutely ridiculous. But worst of all, when Lorraine is being questioned by the police as to why Carlton's body wasn't with the others, she simply says something like she's not sure, maybe an animal took it away. It's an underground bunker. What an absolute disgrace of an ending. These critics are completely and utterly shameless. See more Lara B @LaraBlej Jun 22 I love it! It was very captivating. All the Caban's stories are awsome See more David Curtis Z @Glaiven Feb 19 What a completely ridiculous train wreck of a series featuring one dimensional characters, all of Corben’s work is sensationalist melodrama but they at least have interesting plot lines. These characters are as cartoonish and predictable as the Broadway Barbie and Ken, so cringe. Like dude we get it you wanna talk to Cassie shut the f up See more Nissa S. @NFS247 Feb 2 I have watched every single Harlan Coben series on Netflix and Amazon and this one is one of the best. Super twisted plot as usual, missing people and secret past lives..... a shocking insane story. Loved it. See more Paula M @Pwrm21 Jan 8 I'm on episode 6/8 and I don't think I can finish. The story is beyond stupid. Acting is good. See more Jake L @goslow Dec 21 I'm about 2 1/2 episodes into "Stay Close" and came to Rotten Tomatoes to see if anyone liked it. Gosh, those sophisticated critics! - I'll stick with us everyday guys and move on to something better - Coben's work really hit a low on this one - did he use a committee of coin-tossers to see where he'd take the plot next? Rarely believable, sometimes slipping off into sci-fi-ish fantasy, double lives, and on... Geez, it had me working too hard, not so much following it, but always asking, "Really???"
