Evelyn is that same specific slice of feminism that Mia Freedman represents in the real world. The kind that decries problematic magazine coverlines but lacks self-awareness about how they don’t speak for or to all women but still pretends to do so. @RT35452349 12/19/2023 Loved it, it was smart, fast and felt authentic. Asher Keddie was amazing, the whole cast was great so no complaints there. I did have a problem with the audio however. I found it hollow in the main with music drowing out the dialogue at times which really doesn't do this kind of comedy any favours. Thought it was just me, checked everything several times throughout the first couple of episodes and finally just went with it. Haven't experienced it with any other show ever.
