Based on the novel of the same name by former British SAS officer Chris Ryan, "Strike Back" follows the exploits of two ex-military men in the present day, bound by a tragedy that happened in their pasts. John Porter is a former SAS sergeant, and Hugh Collinson is an ex-MI6 agent. Years after the tragedy that bound them together, they are called upon to right wrongs around the world.

See more 08/03/2015 Season 2 of Strike Back takes place in Africa where Section 20 is chasing down nuclear triggers that could fall into the wrong hands. Stonebridge in episode one is training new recruits for special forces to save his marriage though his wife has lost the baby. Scott goes to rescue kidnapped diplomats & gets captured. Stonebridge's wife is shot & murdered leading him to return to Section 20. He decides to rescue Scott. As the kidnapper decides on what do with the triggers & captives, a new players enters the picture wanting to buy the triggers....everything goes wrong, a huge gun battle takes place as Scott & Stonebridge get the hostages out of harms way & find out that they have a new ally Rachel Dalton (who isn't show she says she is) who posed as one of the hostages, it turns out she is a military soldier for the British Government. Section 20 is in a precarious place as the British Military try to close down Section 20, but this Military Soldier stands by them & ends up heading Section 20, so she can go after the triggers. The triggers gets handed off from person to person until they end up in the hands of a man who is very rich philanthropist & wants them for a plot to change African politics....the action of the first season with a much better storyline, that comes together for a powerful action thriller that gets you wanting to see the next episode as they try Scott & Stonebridge try to prevent a nuclear incident & go after a philanthropist terrorist who has left a trail of bodies behind him of innocent people.
