Expect shaky handheld camerawork, fourth-wall breaking and sly panning to background action. But the series is cleverly written and strikes a perfect balance between wry humour and feelgood vibes. Go to Full Review

The results here, rich in slapstick and silliness, are very good. I laughed a lot, anyway. Go to Full Review

With a highly talented cast who clearly know their characters and exceptional comedic timing, the show hits the ground running, and it can only reach new heights from here. Go to Full Review

Despite being a bit all over the place at points, "Lorraine" eventually pulls itself together and serves as a great reintroduction to the series. Go to Full Review

Cassie W @RT61110410 3d I just finished rewatching this show with my daughter. Seriously laugh out loud funny, even on a second watch. Very disappointed to see it wasn’t renewed because good comedies are hard to find these days. See more Sara P @RT52991031 6d Excellent writing and lots of heart! See more Bill K @BDKowalski Aug 14 Excellent comedic performances from the cast, with Jenn Ryan, Taylor Dunbar, and especially Georgie Murphy showing us how funny a broadcast TV show can be. I should list more cast members, since just about anyone who had lines did beautifully, but I'd run out of space here. The show flies high for the first 7 episodes, or at least the first 6, but then stumbles hard in Episode 8, cramming a misguided subplot involving a data center into the storyline. Even community college cheerleaders would know enticing a data center project into the town couldn't provide funds for an event only a matter of weeks away. They should have used the talent show as their fundraiser. Up until the show fell flat on its face in Episodes 8 and 9, I was mystified how NBC would cancel this hilarious show. Now, knowing how the writers botched the all-important scriptwriting, it makes sense. It was nice while it lasted. Watch it on Peacock and see if I'm wrong. See more Heidi C @Heidi827 Jul 24 It's ridiculous that it was canceled after one season. I feel like it had all the necessary ingredients to become popular. See more Doris H @HDoris Jul 5 I've enjoyed the first season so far. See more Kitty N @KittyN Jun 25 It had its moments, and Jenn Lyon absolutely killed it, but we barely spend any time getting to know the rest of the cast because she’s in literally every scene. I could see the show getting a lot better if it comes back for a second season, but that seems like a big if at the moment. See more Read all reviews
