Although he has no plans to step aside as the head of Waystar Royco, the international media conglomerate controlled by his family, aging patriarch Logan Roy is contemplating what the future holds. He has lingered in the limelight longer than even he thought he would, and now family members want to run the company as they see fit. Despite a best-laid succession plan, tempers flare over Logan's intentions. Kendall Roy, Logan's eldest son from his second marriage and a division president at the firm, is the heir apparent. As Kendall attempts to solidify his eventual takeover, he and the three other Roy children face a difficult choice as company control and family loyalties collide.

This series is in my top 5 of all time. Phenomenal acting & writing. The banter between Logan Roy's kids is classic. The plot twists kept me guessing until the end, and that ending was absolutely fitting.

The ending left me shocked. The slow burn throughout the show lead up to a perfect ending for the characters, one they deserve. Acting throughout the show is impeccable and cinematography and shot style made it feel so intimite and unique.

Kendall almost self-destructs at the end of Season 3 but Shiv and Roman bring him back from the brink to take one last stab at Logan which Ken jumps at, as their chance to take over control of Waystar Royco is put at risk. But Logan had already turned the tables. Shiv, Roman and Ken join forces against Logan in Season 4 but appear intent on self-sabotaging themselves simply due to their shared insatiable greed and their own high opinion of themselves but also treachery. How absolutely useless the four siblings are becomes apparent when disaster strikes and the realization dawns that they have all been living in Logan's shadow. The siblings try to regroup but then proceed to try to cut each other's throats. Ken proves to be as ruthless as Logan but suffers far too many character defects and has no business smarts. In the end all the siblings confuse and entangle political values with their own personal ambitions and the outcome is prescient. The last episode is something special ...
