News & Interviews for Suits: Season 5
Sometimes something comes along that sounds like the streaky part of the toilet paper and it manages to transcend the suck and be wonderful..."Faith" falls into this category.
Suits is back - bigger and better than ever in season 5. It returns with big cases, earth-shattering revelations, sneak-attacks, passionate love affairs, ferocious rivalries, and deep bonds of affection amongst the lawyers of Pearson Spector & Litt.
One thing Suits has done so well is establish the friendly womant-to-woman relationship between Rachel and Donna.
Audience Reviews for Suits: Season 5
While not as great as the previous season, it was still intriguing to watch how things will play out, though the "twist" was too predictable. I am also aware of the increasing use of swearwords that serve no reasons at all, what were the writers thinking to make these people so vulgar? And Markle still cannot act, otherwise Torres was fantastic and Macht delivered a great performance.
The bell tolls for Mike Ross in Season 5 of Suits as the reckoning begins. In the first half season things get personal for Harvey Specter as he starts having panic attacks in the wake of Donna leaving him, which leads Harvey to seek therapy and confront some deep seeded issues that have been weighing on him; meanwhile an old enemy works to get him removed from the firm. And in the second half, Mike Ross faces the trial of his life as it finally comes to light that he never went to law school. The writing is extremely good, heightening the tension and drama from episode to episode, building to climatic mid and end of season finales. Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams both give exceptional performances, and recurring guest stars John Pyper-Ferguson, Christina Cole, and Leslie Hope are also quite impressive: playing their characters extraordinarily well. One of the most powerful and well-made seasons of the series, Suits' fifth season goes for broke, putting everything on the table, and it pays off big.
