Kal Penn turns out to be natural as host of this intriguing display of memory, dexterity and other far-beyond-the-norm skills, which is actually done no favors by the expanded format, making some of the stunts begin to feel a tad repetitive. Go to Full Review

Greg P @RT03544258 09/27/2023 Totally crap ideas like ghosts being real . Or farries goblins exist. No Ghost ever. No Santa. Reality is always a hundred times more amay See more 07/01/2017 Kal Penn is a fine host (I'd almost say great. But I do feel they're not letting him be himself.) The judges are not so good. They're fine people, but I don't love them as judges. Except Mike Tyson can sometimes be pretty funny (I also think they're not letting him do as much.) But my main problem, is the fact that this show mainly comprises of just someone who has a good memory. There's not really much "Superhuman" going on here. I've also disagreed with some of the judges choices for the top three, as well as the audience's choices for the winner. (I've seen three episodes. Oh, and the two hour special, in like, January 2016, if I remember correctly.) In the third episode, Alyssa Kramer should have been in the top three, and won. I didn't love the first episode (not the two hour special) but I was going to watch because there's not much to watch because not too many new or returning shows are on. But I just couldn't after Episode 3's MISTAKE, and the fact that this was never showing up on demand (granted, I'd check every week, and it looked like they'd probably be available a week after.) Superbrain is a more fitting title, or Supermemory, or something along those lines/etc. Don't waste your time, unless you like seeing whoever comes up with the challenges make up new (sometimes stupid, or even ridiculously stupid) ways to test someone's memory.
