After years of facing supervillains, monsters and alien invaders, the world's most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent and comic books' famed journalist Lois Lane come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever -- dealing with being working parents in today's society. Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois worry about whether their sons, Jonathan and Jordan, could inherit their father's Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older. Returning to Smallville to handle some Kent family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang and her Fire Chief husband, Kyle Cushing. The adults aren't the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle's rebellious daughter, Sarah. Of course, there's never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois' father, Gen. Samuel Lane looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment's notice.

There's no reason why a Superman show can't be fun and cool, while still working in the social relevance and teen-friendly melodrama that anchors the Arrowverse.

If the other CW shows have felt redundant, cheap, or flimsy to you, "Superman & Lois" will open your eyes, grab your heartstrings, and still dazzle your valiant action cravings.

This is one of the best superhero television adaptations I have ever seen, far better than James Gunn’s Superman movie and Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Tyler Hoechlin NAILS his role as both Superman and Clark Kent. He does a GREAT JOB as both characters. Bistie Tulloch was GREAT as Lois Lane too and I thought that Emmanuelle Chriqui did a phenomenal job as Lana Lang. She played a WONDERFUL Lana that you REALLY get attached to. Character arcs are SOOO WELL WRITTEN!!! We get to see Superman not just acting as a hero but as a father and it's so heartwarming!! He also has REALLY GOOD chemistry with Bistie's Lois. It's so easy to care about their relationship. Also, Jonathan Kent, one of Superman's sons falls in love with a girl and their relationship is SOOO CUUUTE. I thought Alexander Garfin played a good teenager who wanted to prove himself to his father. If you like Superman and heartwarming shows about family, then this show is for you. Check it out!

pretty good for a TV show demonstrating superman. one thing this show does is show superman as a dad and a husband and a guy doing his best which I really enjoyed seeing because you don't really get the shot to see superman in that light very often

This may be a hot take, but I think Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch are the best Superman and Lois actors in the last several decades. They capture the characters PERFECTLY
