The man who became a legend in the porn world by revolutionizing the "gonzo" genre (handheld camera, more realistic style)—and who literally did everything with everyone all over the globe—is portrayed here through his private life in a melodramatic story that, to top it off, isn't even true. What was the point of creating a series like this—with this title—when the subject himself doesn't recognize the portrayal and has already come forward to refute some of the details? To clean up his image? Did someone actually think that was possible—and in this way, using a made-up story? It’s bizarre and silly, even though the series is actually well-made and the lead actor was an excellent casting choice. But overall, it’s a disappointment for anyone hoping to learn more about the Rocco legend and his significance to modern porn and the industry as a whole. The developers could have taken it even further with more explicit and rougher scenes to truly reflect the provocative, no-limits world Rocco lived and thrived in.
