The Hastings family owns the only funeral home in the mysterious town of La Rochelle, Ga., which is known for its haunted houses, odd residents and unusual phenomena. La Rochelle is also considered a "landing patch" for some of the world's darkest manifestations of fear that are guided into the world by an ancient malefactor. That gives the Hastings more to do than just plan funerals, as they also handle "afterlife care" for the unexpected deaths that people suffer at the hands of demonic entities and other unworldly phenomena. The family uses arcane weaponry, incredible strength and a deep knowledge of the occult to quell the evil that lies within the town.

05/13/2020 it was kinda cheesy like 80s tv with better effects but barring a VERY few moments i ...10s skipped though ( ty netflix) i really liked it. See more 11/18/2019 While, like most new shows, it had some growing pains, it had heart and a truly interesting take on the nexus between the seen and unseen worlds. While the cast was a mix of familiar and newer names, overall they mostly gave nuanced and involving performances. The writing also seemed to really just be hitting stride just as the show ended.
