The impressive cast of this cop show turned psychological family drama will reel you in. Go to Full Review

Suspect pours it on -- chances are you’ll find it gripping from the start or you’ll struggle to find a cause to believe in as these imperfect observers of Christina’s life circle each other, trading jibes and confidences as the trail narrows. Go to Full Review
Dan Einav Financial Times 06/30/2022

While Danny claims he has “nothing to lose” — the script is peppered with such lines — viewers themselves may begin to lose interest as the initial intrigue gives way to a rather uninspired conspiracy yarn. Go to Full Review

It is extremely expository. The continuous dialogue slowly reveals who is really the victim... this isn't necessarily a misstep, but in accordance with the original Danish series. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider 09/27/2022
The series is eight episodes that violate the “show don’t tell” rule of TV storytelling, and while the acting is great, the exposition weighs it down. Go to Full Review
Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) 07/01/2022
The material was tired – maverick detective, Scandi noir, yawn -- and what originality there was did not translate well, despite the stellar cast. Go to Full Review

Alain E @AlainE Mar 17 Who comes with these plot lines. A seasoned cop visits the Medical Examiner’s office to collect information on an unidentified female victim when,,, he recognizes her as his daughter! Then he breaks down like a sensitive seventeen year old girl. Me being an old SOB, gave up at this point. See more Isabelle F @RT43674038 May 12 Despite a good cast, this is utter tosh. Wildly unbelievable, with not one sympathetic character. Got worse with every episode. See more Marie M @RT30707830 11/23/2024 Despite quite an awsome cast the story line is pretty dire and unbelievable. I'd recommend reading a good book instead! See more Stan H @RT96418365 11/15/2024 The series is a set of confrontations between unhinged cop Nesbitt, who is grieving and enraged over his daughter's death, and various individuals who knew her in her final days better than he did. He blows up at each of them, often physically assaulting them, and each of them taunts him with his own faults for not paying more attention to her before she died. There is no subtlety. There is no respite from one violent outburst after another. Ultimately, it becomes boring, and you cannot take his histrionics seriously after awhile. See more Gail F @RT08907590 10/10/2024 Watched two and a half episodes and skipped to the end to see who the villain was…crazed crappy policeman dad, ghost of his daughter who he kicked out, weird coroner/autopsy doc, clueless police superintendent and tortuous way too long plot…main actor seems to only play the same part and he’s getting boring. See more Tom S @Acewrite13 09/25/2023 James Nesbitt is impossible to take, playing yet another traumatized Irish rage-bot, God help any police force that includes someone like him.
