You may want to watch this because you read the manhwa and liked it or thinking that this is original, DON'T DO IT I can't call it an adaptation or original, it's so different and so similar that the best I can do it's call it a rip-off, they cut out so many really important things and replace them with comedy scenes or not replace it at all, same with characters, they replaced some important characters with secondary characters that you don't even care when some of them die, they didn't include any character development, unlike the original manhwa where almost everyone had that moment, the worst thing here is the ending, the ending in the original manhwa was pretty sad and definitely a tear jerker, but here is just a really really cheese cliffhanger, and I have no idea why they did that, cause the story was supposed to end, and from what I saw in this, they can't make something good original to save their life, the next thing is the actors, these are the worst actors I have ever seen, and I can look past bad acting, but this one was just so painfully bad, if you liked this I really really recommend reading the original manhwa, it's completely free on Webtoon so I don't see why you wouldn't.

Me encantó a primera vista.

Amazing from the special effects to the performances this is amazing and really worth watching

It was okay. I really liked Hyunsoo and Jisoo but otherwise most of the characters felt pretty one-dimensional. Just the way they reacted to certain situations felt pretty unrealistic/comical. Like when the monsters first appeared and Eunhyuk goes "I guess this is the end of the world" with the most blank expression, it felt so cheesy. I get that he's a serious character but you can still write serious characters in a way that still shows their emotions in certain situations, especially a situation as intense as that one. The serious characters in this show seemed like they had been fighting monsters their entire life, like it was just a normal/everyday thing for them to do. The children also felt pretty poorly written. Like when Hyunsoo was intensely bleeding on his face, that little girl just stared at him and went "are you okay" with no emotion. I get that she's nine but when I was nine I'm pretty sure I would've freaked out at the sight of even a drop of blood. The show itself wasn't really scary, it was more gore-y than anything, which I didn't mind. I get scared easily but it was more on the gross side rather than the thriller side. I think I've just been spoiled by Alice in Borderland and Train to Busan because I feel like the characters in them were more developed/emotional/interesting and the plotlines were just overall more thrilling.

Nothing new or interesting about this show at all. Is it the end of the world? Are they zombies? Are they variants of zombies? Is it a disease? Like, seriously I'm so over this stuff. It's gotten tiresome. Being foreign does not make it any more interesting unfortunately. Oh, wait a second--it's on Netflix. No wonder it's garbage. It all makes sense now. Money can't buy happiness (or good writers and actors apparently). At its core is that it's just plain boring. There's nothing that compels you to keep watching. The characters are flat.

The problem with this show is that the SETTING is LOCKED IN. I absolutely despise any movie or show where the audience is LOCKED IN TO A SINGLE SETTING. B-O-R-I-N-G BORING INCORPORATED. TWO MAJOR THUMBS DOWN. Also - the 'monsters' aspect is really poorly executed and a poor, unbelievable idea. Overall the show is a complete waste of the viewer's time - super slow burn, not believable, locked into a single apartment building - about as AWFUL as JUDGE DREDD - with the monsters reminding me of Ghost Busters. Phewy !

Monsters instead of zombies. Nice change. Looks like an anime live-action movie.

What a waste of time. The story didn't go anywhere even after 8 episodes. WTF

The CGI and the production quality were really impressive. It feels a bit slow at times, but other than that I thought it was great.

Never seen the web series it's based on but was very entertained with this show. Each character, to varying degrees, is fleshed out giving the horror they experience extra weight. You can tell the effects team were doing the best they could with the budget they had and while this could have easily went wrong the cheaper effects actually give the show charm, as if it's a throwback rather than coming off as cheap.
