The monster-making is always inventive, and often wonderfully gross, which amplifies the horror elements whenever the generally strong performances throughout the series can't fully save it. Go to Full Review

Rather than the improvement we had hoped for, season 3 marks the nadir of a series that has experienced a clear downward trajectory. Simply put, it may be the worst Korean drama we have seen in 2024. Go to Full Review

Sweet Home Season 3 delivers a strong finish to its narrative. At the same time, the overuse of character deaths weakens the final package, the acting, writing, and strong story outside of that one major failing more than make up for it. Go to Full Review

See more rin 01/30/2025 eh. Season 1 was really good, and I was really excited for season 2, only to get nothing except a side story. The mc was literally missing for most of this season. Not only this but at the end of the show, there was like none of my favourite characters remaining. ji-su, jae heon, gangster guy... rip also there were plot holes everywhere ; in the base of the elite monsters or whatever and there were soldiers hanging up on the roof, one of them was left hanging?? where'd they go? + in s2, the monsters were practically irrelevant to the plot. s3 was okay... but the ending was really disappointing. all that build up + danger of monsters only for them to evolve into "neo-humans" that have no emotions?? okay... w h a t ? wish they stuck to source material. the webtoon/manhwa will always be one of my favourites... See more Olasurubomi A 08/14/2024 Season 1 was so great, season 2 was just there..but season 3..the first few episodes were good but episode 6 to 8 was nothing to write home about. I was so disappointed about the whole story.. Neo-humans? Really? The whole season was just chaotic.. I'm really disappointed. See more Kasey V @Kaseyvan 08/11/2024 I loved this show! I was very surprised. Character development was great. The creatures were incredible. I was left a little disappointed with the ending. Still an amazing watch. See more Kyle S @Ksettles 08/06/2024 S3 felt like the writers took a lot of ideas and threw them against a wall curious to see what was going to stick. My word, I can't believe how incredible season 1 was and then the next 2 felt like a different show entirely. We went from actual monsters in the first season to "elites", "neo-humans", and being infected didnt seem to quite be as big of a deal anymore, what happened? For people who enjoyed the other seasons great, but the point I want to make here in my review is clarity. What was established in S1 and what I loved about it gets tossed out the window. There was character development, sense of urgency, and I wanted to know more about the world. S2 and S3 spent more time trying to create shock factors over actual story telling. There was no longer any suspense for me and I just assumed everybody would die because the writers were like death is meaningless. I can't stress this enough, I hope this idea gets reinvisioned.
