Almost one year has passed since SAO has been cleared. Kazuto meets with Seijiro Kikuoka of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

View Details

Sinon is known as the best sniper in GGO, armed with the Hécate II sniper rifle. She, along with her squadron, attacks another squadron.

View Details

In real life, the player Sinon is a high school student named Shino Asada. Because of an incident from her childhood, Shino is traumatized by the sight of guns.

View Details

Kikuoka has recruited irito to investigate GGO, and so he logs in. To lure Death Gun into targeting him, he hopes to enter the Bullet of Bullets (BoB) tournament.

View Details

Barely managing to register for BoB in time, Kirito will be competing in Block F of the preliminary tournament. Sinon is also in Block F, and there's a chance that they'll clash in the final.

View Details

After witnessing Kirito's fight to win his first preliminary match, a man clad in a ragged cloak asks him, "Are you the real deal?"

View Details

The man in the ragged cloak is an SAO survivor... This thought consumes Kirito to the point that it worries Suguha.

View Details

Kirito approaches Sinon about exchanging information and begins to investigate the other players.

View Details

The man in the ragged cloak reveals himself to be Death Gun, and announces that he'll be bringing on real-life death.

View Details

Attacked from behind by Death Gun, Sinon has her back to the wall. Death Gun's weapon is, oddly enough, the same gun that Sinon used to kill the bank robber.

Just as great as the first one!

As mentioned in my review of season 1, this season replaced the second cour of season 1 as my standard for how bad a show can be. The first cour of this was physically painful to sit through. Most of the second cour was so forgettable I literally have nothing to say about it, with the exception of the Mother's Rosario arc. Although I could see the end coming a mile away, I think this could have been a very powerful scene in a better show, and it stands above the mess that is the rest of the series. I don't think it's a coincidence that all my favorite parts of SAO happen when Kirito is gone.

The gun world in SWORD ART ONLINE Season 2 is a change of pace from the two fantasy worlds of season 1. There's a lot of cool action and the story migrates from season 1 as well. The special SAO Gun Gale Online is a little better with action. The difference is that the main hero, Kirito, is in this one and gets to use his earned god-mode.

The plot line was good but the season itself was unnecessarily r*pey. Most of it seemed to be a twisted form of fan service.

The second season is not that great... they should have stopped at season 1, i feel thats beacuse the main goal of the series is completed.
