As comforting as a buttery biscuit from a friend, Ted Lasso's sophomore season is a feel-good triumph that plays into the show's strengths while giving its supporting team more time on the pitch.

You would think they hate success the way they stamp it out with such speed and dilute it with parasites. First season was 5 stars, second seasons start, well, it's definitely not two times better at its job than the first season thinks it was.

Yawn yawn yawn!!! How do so many people enjoy watching this?? It's so unintelligent and cheesy. The lead actor has the same facial expression 247. None of the actors makes me go wow. Feels like an outdated sitcom in the 90s yet the rating… how's this happening?! Watch Barry. Six Feet Under. Not this.

Tragic loss of what used to be a tremendous show.

What an unimaginative, unfunny and unpleasant stinker!. This forced first episode was to be expected after the trailer dropped, but it does confirm that Ted Lasso was a passion project for Sudeikis and his ex--partner that should be considered a one-season wonder. There's nothing wrong with that. Trying to wring out a second season merely serves to weed out the genuine critics from those fawning over the show without having bothered to see it. If there is one thing that's amusing about this show is the fact that 'professional critics' dare not utter a single negative word against the poor script and insipid characters as if to atone for the fact that they ignored this show when it came out and loved it when they finally got to see it. No one didn't love the first season, which made it that much more difficult to create a repeat performance. No one says there must be a second and third season, but here we are. If it turns itself around, I will update this review. As it stands, it's a definite downgrade over the first show and hardly worth the time.

Season two they bring a shrink in to fix a problem that doesn't need fixing. A perfect analogy for the second season. Franchise over.

I don't like the character changes of the second season. first episode wasn't impressive, after the stellar first season
