The Mentalist: Season 4 Photos

Tv Season Info

The fourth series of this crime drama opens with an incarcerated Jane (Simon Baker) attempting to defend himself in court against murder charges. At the end of the trial, he divulges an important secret to Lisbon (Robin Tunney). Meanwhile, Cho (Tim Kang) wants to keep his new romance a secret because it involves him crossing the line with Summer (Samaire Armstrong), one of his informants; and Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) finds his new romance is progressing much faster than he expected. Also unexpected: Lisbon runs into one of her brothers (Henry Thomas), who's now a bounty hunter, while working on a case.

Critic Reviews for The Mentalist Season 4

I love Jane and the rest of the team and frankly will always be happy watching them chase bad guys every week. But I do think a great opportunity was missed by not allowing Red John to stay dead.

With a group of fashion designers, a cult leader and cabaret performers, Season Four offers Jane plenty of exciting targets, and when it keeps his co-stars personal lives out of his way, it works pretty well.

[It's] another brilliant season of The Mentalist.

Mentalist was quite a bit of fun, in a pleasant, low-key kind of way, and the main reason it's so entertaining is that it has one of those protagonists I was describing before, the Highly Interesting Person.
