Tv Season Info

Season 2 of the drama series picks up right after the events of the final episode of the previous season. Cyrus (Jake Maskall), now king, restores Liam's (William Moseley) and Eleanor's (Alexandra Park) official titles in the hope that this move will grant him their support and please the people. The twins, however, are looking into their father's murder and are attempting to find out who's responsible; at the same time, with the help of their mother, they're trying to investigate the mysterious Domino organization that might have something to do with King Simon's death. Romantic relationships are also put to test: Jasper (Tom Austen) and Helena's (Elizabeth Hurley) affair continues; Liam meets with Ophelia (Merritt Patterson); and Eleanor rekindles her relationship with Beck (Andrew Cooper).

The second season of The Royals kicked off in a quieter fashion than I was expecting, but I think the action will quickly ramp up over the course of the season.

If you're looking for subtle, poignant drama, The Royals isn't for you - but if you're into pretty people doing very bad things, E!'s scripted show definitely doesn't disappoint.

The Royals doesn't ascend very high on the rung of cable dramas. But to its credit, the show isn't entirely predictable, and even at its most ridiculous, it's almost never boring.

Love the show! It's sexy, suspenseful and entertaining. It's also a very interesting topic. Highly recommend it!!!

Something like this is great if you want something that is fun without any seriousness. It is funny, completely outrageous and unbelivble in most places. As long as you don't take it too seriously, then you have the perfect TV show to distract your self from anything you probably should be doing. Overall, this is one of the funniest shows out there today.

    A bit too pretentious ...

This season is much better than season 1! The mystery and drama is cranked up! I would have never guessed that this season would turn this show into one of my favorites.

Love this show, lots of ruthless drama !

As usual, the second season slowed down in its storytelling. I was hoping for many episodic cliff hangers but the story telling was much slower. I lost interest after about 5 or 6 episodes since they weren't getting anywhere other than telling a story about 'what if' the Kardashians were in the palace because that's how they are behaving.

Probably my favorite show on tv besides The Blacklist. Plenty of twists this season to keep it fun, and the writers have managed to be quite witty.
