It's not particularly artistic, or funny, or smart, but it's not particularly bad either. It's very clear that the cast and crew are doing the best with what they got. One problem I do have is that this show doesn't feel like it was meant to empathize with poor people but rather it feels like a bunch of rich folk cosplaying and making fun of the poors. The poor aren't inherently human, and they may only "earn" the right to humanity if the protagonists smile upon them. I mean, this is pretty similar to how Charles Dickens portrayed poverty so points for that.. I guess I just expected a fresh approach instead of recycling the same outdated and one dimensional tropes. Still, for an original sequel to existing material this is much better than what slop TV industry usually churns out. I hope it has a direction, and I hope they don't make it longer than it needs to be. See more Krystle B Feb 20 This show was really entertaining! The excitement keeps you on your toes and coming back for more, while the love story leaves you feeling goody and cozy after every episode. I love the characters and all the different sub plots that each of them are embroiled in. It's a fun twist (see what I did there?) on a classic story that truly takes on a life of it's own and it doesn't stop in season 2.
