The Audacity is the story of Silicon Valley as it is: ridiculous and terrifying. Since no one tries to stop them, the tech overlords will stop at nothing to control what you see, buy, vote for, believe. AI and data are their tools as they pursue humanity into a corner. But they, too, are human, to their frustration, and face the same problems of love, family, ambition, and greed as the rest of us. Only a billion times more than us. A manic tech CEO and his ethics-damaged therapist guide us through the Valley's madness and failings.

Bitter, brutal, depressing. Go to Full Review

The cast is very good and the dialogue good enough, but because few of these characters are developed beyond a handful of identifying characteristics, it’s a generally cold, dispassionate watch. Go to Full Review

The series can be unwieldy in scope, slow to unveil its endgame and uneven in its character development. Still, these are minor faults compared to an enjoyably harsh yet perceptive look at the psychology of Silicon Valley elites. Go to Full Review

There’s real potential here for this show to put AMC back on the map in a meaningful way. It carries that dense, layered texture reminiscent of Mad Men, along with the go-for-broke freneticism of Succession. Go to Full Review

This series combines Succession-like comedy about the wealthy with the Silicon Valley setting, where everyone is smarter but equally selfish. Go to Full Review

A highly entertaining must-see, and a series keenly attuned to the present moment. Go to Full Review

David H. @RT39577858 1d I watched half the first episode and it’s about the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen! I just had to shut it off See more D S @DSONDOR 5d There is something far from the truth, here, you want to care about someone, anyone but the flaws they write into each character are so deep they ruin every scene with their pettiness. Even Helberg, whose character is perhaps the most likeable cast member is so obsessed that he trashes his real relationships for one with an AI. Everyone is written over the top. Everyone has a crisis or is manipulated by someone having one. And everyone's responses are less than normal, less than average, less than believable. I give it a little bit of praise for the attempt and for stringing together a good story. Were I reading just the script, I would likely find it interesting. But the way its shot, acted, portrayed, and ultimately presented is just so hyper kinetic, exhausting and enervating that I had to turn it off several times. See more Ricky B @Purefilth22 6d Just brutal just watch Silicon Valley again. See more evis Z @RT74452909 6d You either love it or hate it but hard truths are shared here with great acting, lots of stressful moments and above all tech mania. I am on the side of loving it and can't wait for the next episode as tech is my life since 1984 and I witnessed everything in this series. See more Maggie C @RT76978403 Apr 28 Stacked cast and superb acting all around. Really enjoying Sarah Goldberg’s performance. It’s entertaining and funny. Once I put it on I couldn’t stop watching. See more Bubble L @RT40871246 Apr 28 I really love this show, yeah its dark, yes the characters are mostly despicable but its weirdly believable that self indulgent east coast tech billionaires would be exactly like this. Its funny, twisted and no matter who wins they will not deserve it. I am in for the ride See more Read all reviews
