It's all done with charm and a relatively light touch. There are enough credible reasons why this pair might actually click. Go to Full Review
Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald 04/08/2020
Australian Nathalie Kelley and the rest of the cast are thoroughly appealing, but some stiff writing, some dud location choices and the eye-rolling premise make this rom-com fairytale hard to get into. Go to Full Review

The Garcia family is a funny, sweet, tight-knit group, with their own stories set in motion as well that pique my interest by the end of the hour. Go to Full Review

Joana D @BoricuaD 08/29/2023 This was a fantastic show with an accurate portrayal of a Latino family. Of course, they cancelled it. I didn't even hear about it until after it finished airing on ABC. Shameful they didn't give it one more season at least, despite an online campaign to keep it alive. See more 07/08/2022 Absolutely amazing show. Saw this on Netflix and I started to watch the few minutes and I was HOOKED. Binged it TODAY. Wish they had mad a second season. This show is so underrated! It's charming, funny, witty, romantic and leaves the audience wanting more. I hope that this show makes #1 with Netflix and hope they can bring back the characters to make more seasons. So much they can do with this show and keep the audience HOOKED! See more 03/17/2022 Good series, a remake of the Israeli show of the same name. I tried watching the Israeli series as they had more seasons since they cancelled this one but it wasn't as nearly interesting. This one has characters that have chemistry and story arcs that draw you into the show. It has better production values and there was no cultural barriers I didn't understand compared to the Israeli version. I binged the season and don't regret the lack of sleep the next day. Have a go at it if you want. See more 10/31/2021 Oh my God this is an absolute must-see every episode had me on the edge this is such a wonderful TV series it's my favorite Netflix has to come out with season 2 if not I'm leaving Netflix just kidding but please Netflix this is our friends and family favorite we look forward to season 2 if you have not watched it please it is a must literally find out for yourself enjoy the TV series I know you're going to love it See more 06/11/2021 I absolutely loved it, it made me cry & laugh. I want another Season! See more 05/22/2021 PThe Garcias are the new Huxtable family. It is wonderful to see a show about a kind, loving family with a healthy dynamic. The only reason this show isn't more popular I would bet is the horrible trailer. After watching the trailer, I decided not to watch the show until my sister talked me into giving it a chance. It is so misleading. Please make a second season Netflix! See more Read all reviews
