  Absolutely astonishing. The Beatles make it very clear they are the best band that ever was. They seem to just kind of mess around in the studio, getting a few good takes, cutting up, having a laugh, taking the piss, seeming like they don't really have it together, and then they get on the roof and play with more energy and verve than any other band I've seen live or on film. Super tight but loose and nasty and raucous, pure rock and roll, the best s*** that's ever been done. Several of the takes from the roof make the album. When they set out to put on a show, they put on a SHOW. We'll never see their like again. It's sad in a way, but at least we have their records we can play until the day we die. They were, and always will be, perfect in their incomparable imperfection. No other band comes anywhere near. It's laughable to even think so. Speaking of laughable, these guys are gut bustingly funny as well. "Get off, ya bum!'

  Wow. I didn't think I could sit through the entire 468 minutes in one sitting but I'm glad I did. It left me wanting to see more more more. It was a joy to watch but sad knowing the end of the band was near.

  My husband is really into the Beatles and convinced me to watch this. I got completely sucked in by the music and the drama. What surprised me the most was how funny all of the band members actually were and how little drama there really actually was with Yoko. She just seemed to truly just want to be around John. They band members clearly seemed to love each other fully but were battling with stardom and their own changing lives as they got older. It went on a bit long at times but definitely worth watching.

  For the fans, else far tooo long. How the death of epstein created a wake they couldnt get over. Paul tries so hard to save them, and pisses himself and everyone else off doing it. It comes out in 2 great songs. "get back" and "let it be" .... and in the end he has to let it be. He knows what is coming and it prevents him from recording the song with ease. A wonderful insight into a legendary band being uniquely creative to the muddled end. George wanting a bigger role and john lapsing into a dream state. Or is he stoned??? hard to tell. Itriguing...... Ringo is the nice guy as always.
