Roman R @Roman450 Feb 14 Both seasons were fantastic, gripping storyline and very talented cast. Hoping for season 3. See more Daniel B @ChickenFingers Dec 13 A great show! It's a 2 season mini series and the second season is equally as good as the first. Love the topics it covered as it touches on an issue that is global, so can resonate with viewers even outside of Thailand. See more Phil H Apr 13 What I really enjoyed about the show other than its plot, was the way it portrays the lives of Thai people See more Seon z 10/24/2024 "The Believers" (Sathu) is a Thai series that you won't want to miss! This story challenges your thoughts and tackles issues often avoided in Thai discussions, such as religion, through charming characters and memorable performances. In this series, there are no characters that are purely good or bad. Characters like Phra Don reveal complexity and inner struggles, while Win is both cool and frustrating, reminiscent of the Professor in "Money Heist," who is both clever and charismatic. This series is not just entertainment; it invites us to question beliefs and societal issues through the development of deep characters and intense performances. Each episode allows us to explore new perspectives. "The Believers" is a meaningful series that encourages us to pay attention to important societal issues earnestly. See more W B 10/24/2024 Thai series that balances bold storytelling with fun in quite some time. Often, series tackling "social issues" can feel too heavy, while those that are entertaining usually lack depth. However, this series successfully blends both elements. With a heist-film vibe, it features a well-defined trio of characters who are charming and relatable. The characters are what truly elevate the story. The main trio, despite being "not good people," draw viewers in, making us root for them as we explore their motivations—especially those exploiting religion. Win, in particular, stands out as a complex character with both light and dark sides. His internal struggles and morally ambiguous decisions make him intriguing, forcing viewers to grapple with their own perceptions of right and wrong. The series skillfully mixes humor, drama, romance, and mystery, leaving me eager for more in Season 2. This is a must-watch Thai original with an impressive cast. You don’t need to be invested in Buddhism to appreciate its themes; the concept resonates with various unsettling "markets," whether they involve other religions or certain non-profit organizations. However, if you do have a personal connection, you'll find yourself even more engaged with what "Sathu" aims to convey. See more Siriporn P @Malee 04/12/2024 Fascinating plot but slow pace. Instead of 9 episodes, it would've been more interesting if it was made just 6 or 7. See more Read all reviews
