Critic Consensus: While the jury is out on its weekly worthiness, The Catch largely yields satisfying results with tried-and-true Shondaland production qualities, fun cases of the week, and bendy plot twists.

News & Interviews for The Catch: Season 1
Enos and the never out-of-work Krause make for two very attractive protagonists.
The Catch... thrives on sophisticated skulduggery, fun stars and swank clothes, homes and offices.
ABC's The Catch, fresh off the Shonda Rhimes assembly line, doesn't steal that marvelous line from the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, but it nicks everything else. And that's not a complaint.
As far as introductions go, this one's polished and playful enough to warrant a more extensive investigation.
The Catch is a dead fish. Spare yourself; throw it back.
While the supporting cast seems more than competent, this is a show that comes down to the way Enos and Krause, two longtime TV veterans, play off each other. They have strong chemistry together but are also careful to carve out characters of their own.
