As befits modern TV comedy, it’s not laugh-a-minute, but The Change is a beguiling and unusual thing (wrapped in the traditions of British sitcom) with a language and rhythm all of its own. Go to Full Review

Throughout, troubling subjects are handled with deftness and delicacy and a tender, largely reconciliatory message of growth and redemption, where Christie’s life-affirming imagery plays happily round the screen like a maypole dance. Go to Full Review

It was just a bit too chaotic, and the poignancy of season 1 was lost in season 2. It's still worth a watch because the characters are known and loved from season 1. But it definitely was not as good as the first season. See more Andy G Mar 28 Not the Forest of Dean I know and love. Its sad that it’s so badly represented whilst using it as a platform to examine other prejudices and inequalities. The Forest has suffered in this way for years and Bridget hasn’t done it any favours now. Paul Whitehouse alone manages to at least sound like a Forester. Its a shame really See more Read all reviews
